It's movie review time in the Zipcave! Christian and Ryan breakdown the latest blockbusters to hit theaters, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and The Flash. Ryan took Sammy Zee to see the latest installment in the "sometimes hot; sometimes not" Transformers film property, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. With amazing visuals and nostalgic references out the ying-yang, T:ROTB delivers an action pack ride from start to finish. While Ryan didn't get everything he wanted out of the new film (sorry, no Megatron as a purple T-Rex), it is compared by the guys to Bumblebee rather than the overly processed Michael Bay series. Peter Cullen returns to voice Optimus Prime while Ron Pearlman delivers a solid performance as the new Earth guardian and leader of the Maximals.
Next, Ryan breaks down the highly anticipated new film from Warner Bros and DC Comics, The Flash, starring the controversy creating Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon and Michael Keaton. It's a solid review for Ryan, who gush's over Keaton's historic step back into the cowl of the Dark Knight, over 30 years since dawning the cape in 1992's Batman Returns. While Ryan tries not to spoil the film as much as he can, he does go through some of the more iconic moments and cameo appearances from the film, including one incredible moment at the end of the film he guarantees will make audiences cry.
Almost an hour later, the guys move on to the news (Rather quickly. Apologies), including the new interview with DC head James Gunn with Michael Rossenbaum, Andy Muschietti's nod to direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a renewal for CW's Superman & Lois, CM Punk's return to the squared circle, the crumbling of Roman Reigns' Bloodline and many more stories.
