Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. The first episode! Chris and Alex chat about early memories of going to gigs, favourite venues and their plans for future episodes.
They discuss the Barrowlands Ballroom in Glasgow, Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff, live disappointments, bootlegs and their loudest gigs.
Alex's live track is Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye" (recorded on July 4, 1995. Olympia, Paris) from the live compilation album "Mystery White Boy".
