On the evening of August 20, 1989, José and Kitty Menendez were viciously murdered in their Beverly Hills mansion. The crime scene was so brutal that police initially suspected it might be a mob hit due to the level of violence. Their sons, Lyle and Erik, who called 911 after the murders, initially appeared as grief-stricken victims. However, in the months that followed, their behavior began to raise suspicions. In this episode, we explore the story of the Menendez family and the events that led to one of the most notorious parricide cases in true crime history.
