To Everyone: This interview is a tribute to a professional Social Worker who had a profound impact on my life. His name is Mr. Dalton Murchison. Last year I was fortunate to re-connect with him after many, many years. I had many Social Workers through the years. But he had the greatest impact on me. Mr. Dalton Murchison. Always went above and beyond while serving as my Social Worker.

After reconnecting with him I, I was fortunate enough to interview back in May of last year. I featured him in Social Work Fellowship project I worked on from November 2020 to June 2021. The final project premiered on June 18, 2021. For the project I interviewed 6 professional Social Workers. Mr. Murchison’s interview was the capstone of the project. I featured him as a Social Worker who made a huge difference in my life. I also highlighted him during the NASW-NYS Long Island Regional Awards Ceremony that evening.

Many in his family witnessed how I highlighted and detailed what Mr. Murchison did for me and the impact he had on my life at a young age. Sadly, on July 18, 2021 one month to the day that I featured him Mr. Murchison passed away. The documentary and the awards ceremony were aired all over the country and globally.
