The Knicks have one final roster spot remaining and according to reports, they are interested in using it to sign an Olympics Star with Team France. It's their center, who recently replaced former defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert in the starting lineup, Mathias Lessort. NY owns Lessort's draft rights, stemming from the 2020 draft night trade. Lessort, predominantly a draft & stash pick since being drafted in 2017, has shined during this Olympics run. NY & Lessort couldn't come to terms earlier in the offseason on a deal but NY will surely continue to push to sign one of Team France's best players ASAP... Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!
