In recent weeks, we’ve noticed some major shake ups in the journalism industry, with a couple major publications taking aggressive action in regard to its employees. Sports Illustrated laid off many of its journalists recently, and in contrast, the LA Times has agreed to improved terms for its employees. Today, we’re going to discuss some of these trends and what it means for current and aspiring journalists.
