Born in Germany and raised in Lancashire, Samantha Renke is an actress, presenter, disability activist, inclusion and equality consultant and keynote speaker challenging how the world sees disability and refuses to let anything get in her way.

Renke talks everything from losing a parent, the importance of mental wellbeing, imposter syndrome, trolls, manifesting greatness, to the lack of representation of disabled on-screen talent.

Featured in the highly successful series of adverts for Maltesers based on real-life experiences of disabled people, the Scope Ambassador has spoken at numerous events for organisations such as the National Education Union, Viacom, Houses of Parliament, UNICEF, ASOS, COS Fashion, Creative Equals, the Valuable 500 and Viacom to name just a few.

With Renke's determination for change, there is no surprise she was named the third most influential disabled woman in The Shaw Trust’s Power 100 list of 2020, nominated as Campaigner of the Year in the 2019 European Diversity Awards and shortlisted as Celebrity of the Year at the National Diversity Awards 2020.
