Bill Hubly is the Assistant Athletic Director of Scouting with the University of Pittsburgh Men’s team, Coach Billy Hubly. Coach Hubly joins us with a strong coaching background including various roles at Georgia Institute of Technology, East Carolina University, University of South Florida and currently the University of Pittsburgh. Coach Hubly, has made a great rise in the industry getting to learn from some phenomenal coaches, including Coach Brian Gregory and Jeff Capel to name a few. In this episode we talk about some things he looks for when scouting an opposing team, how NIL and the transfer portal have made an impact on basketball as well as some of the major takeaways he has learned from all of his stops with stellar programs.
