- Axios posted that Pete Hegseth’s former sister-in-law said that his ex-wife feared for her safety. The defense secretary denies the claims. Hegseth’s 2nd wife denied the allegations in a statement on NBC “There was no physical abuse in my marriage, I do not believe your information to be accurate and I have contacted my lawyer.”
