This week on the podcast, we are excited to be joined by Kyra Carusa, HB Køge and Ireland striker. Kyra is at the centre of an exciting project in Danish women's football, with the club rapidly developing the women's game, by opening up equal resources to the Men's team. With the team flying high at the top of the league at the time of recording, and Kyra currently the league's top scorer, they are seeking to become the first team outside of the big two of Brøndby and Fortuna Hjørring since 2001 to win the title. All this in their first season in the top flight, after being promoted to the first division last year.
We spoke about what this project means to Kyra in practice, as well as adjusting to life in the small Danish town. We also found time to speak a little about what it means to Kyra to represent Ireland. An exciting and engaging conversation on a rapidly developing aspect of the game.
