Paul Farahvar's comedy career began unexpectedly after a successful run as a Chicago lawyer and musician. While managing bands, a friend's invitation to comedy classes at Second City led to a chance meeting with Bob Saget, whose encouragement pushed Farahvar to try stand-up. After winning a contest at his first open mic, Farahvar shifted from law to full-time comedy, closing his law firm in 2020. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Farahvar thrives in clean and corporate comedy, balancing his passion for humor with financial savvy. He also hosts the podcast Why Are You Awake?, exploring creativity in night owls.
