His first professional job was as a gear fisherman on the Great Lakes, but the lure of what was possible and the challenge of fly fishing eventually drew him in.
These days, Jeff is a full time guide on his home waters and instructs in fly fishing and spey casting among other things.
We discuss covering water on the Great Lakes and other large fresh water fisheries, making decisions on limited information, and the importance of angle of attack on still water.
