She murdered both he and his concubine and wept and wailed for days into the Veil, vowing to never marry again. While the silken sails were only for decoration at first, legend says she was so distraught with grief that they captured the shards of her broken heart, immortalizing them in crystal sheer within the very silk. Some say the sails were passed from wrathful widow to scorned lover, and their tears imbued themselves into the silk.
