On this episode I chatted with Stacy the Executive Director for C4K. C4K started in 2011 from a pile of basketball shoes, soccer cleats and football gear in the corner of an Oklahoma City garage. Mark McDaniel was a local coach whose kids were extremely active. Mark saw what his children had outgrown and realized that the shoes that no longer fit Cole, Josh or Meghan could benefit someone else. The McDaniel family believed in the transformational power of sports and wanted to share that experience with kids no matter their financial background. Thus, C4K was born.

Since its founding in 2011, C4K has experienced exponential growth in the amount of equipment distributed and kids' lives impacted. We work with schools, community partners and nonprofits to get gear to kids in need. C4K equips and empowers kids in all 77 Oklahoma Counties.
