About
Kyle johnson was born and raised in Central Asia to parents who worked in the non-profit sector. From an early age he was heavily influenced and motivated by the inequalities witnessed in these countries. After getting his masters in international relations from American University in Washington, DC, and working for years in the finance sector, he started his own business in coffee. The goal was to promote job opportunities for minorities in the LGBTQIA+ community and provide a safe space for people away from alcohol and drugs. After a successful couple years he sold the business and is excited to move forward with his vision to promote the advancement of human rights around the world.
Synopsis
During this episode Kyle touch's base on what it was like to own a small business during the "Trump Era" in Washington D.C. When and how he knew he wanted to work for himself after moving here to the United States from Asia, and when he knew the American Dream was truly still alive and breathing, even after a pandemic.
