Impossible to see it all in one day. - Thyssen: cool exhibitions - Museo de la Reina Sofia: more modern, paintings of Picasso Touristy places: - El Escorial: monastery later transformed into a castle - Valle de los Caidos: huge cross and cemetery in honor of the victims of the Civil war, can see the entire city —> 45 min away from Madrid by car. —> you can also go there skiing in winter or hiking in summer. - Even the Estadio Santiago-Bernabéu, although ugly on the outside is worth going in, in the middle of the city—> go to see a football match of the Atlantico!
