Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Liz Calvery to discuss why it is important to get the Northeast brand out in front of elementary and middle school students and why the college must hold events like the mini Northeast NOW that it will hold on Friday, November 15 for approximately 750 elementary and middle school students. Ford talks about how so many juniors and seniors need to be looking at their future 5-6 years down the road and planning their futures in the workforce and how the college can not only help them with entering the workforce but it can help to set a mindset of lifelong learning by getting elementary and middle school students interested in education at a young age. To wrap up, Ford shares updates on Northeast News, discussing athletics, academics, workforce development, student activities, human resources, and other important topics at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
