The main focus was mental health as an underlying issue when it comes to addiction, and that conversation was with Dr. Brophy- medical director of the Gaiser Center and local physician who’s board certified in both addiction medicine and emergency medicine, Joe Mahoney- executive director at the Ellen O’Brien Gasier Center, licensed social worker with 16 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health fields.
