In the first segment, we hear from Lt Col. Mohamed Mohamud Awale of the Somali National Armed Forces (SNA) talking about the impact of IEDs on the Somali population and the soldiers themselves. He also discusses how UNMAS and other international partners are instrumental in enhancing their capabilities. In the second segment, we welcome Fran O'Grady, the Chief of UNMAS in Somalia, who shares insights on their collaborative efforts with the Somali government and SNA to tackle IED threats.
