In this episode, we immerse ourselves in the profound wisdom of Galatians 2:2-3 and Acts 15:23-24. Our journey begins with the Apostle Paul's interaction with the officials of the early Church as recorded in Galatians 2:2-3. Here, Paul, guided by a divine revelation shared the gospel he preached among the Gentiles. We also delve into the implications of Titus, a Greek, not being forced to adhere to the Jewish tradition of circumcision. This does not, as we clarify, prevent him from salvation.
We further explore Acts 15:23-24 which touches on the Apostles' communication to the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia. The text opposes the teaching that Gentiles must be circumcised and observe Jewish laws for salvation. This, we stress, is essential to our understanding that as Gentiles, we are not bound by Jewish customs and laws.
