Let's dive into the forecast for Atlanta, Georgia. Today, we're looking at showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 5 pm. Expect a high near 86 degrees with light winds becoming west around 5 miles per hour. There's an 80% chance of precipitation with possible rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch.
Tonight, we'll see more showers and thunderstorms likely before 8 pm. It'll be partly cloudy with a low around 72 degrees and a southwest wind around 5 miles per hour, giving us a 60% chance of precipitation.
As we move into Tuesday, get ready for a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 11 am. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 91 degrees, but the heat index values could go as high as 102. West winds around 5 mph.
