Weather Report Script for Austin, Texas:
Good morning, Austin! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with today's weather update.
Let's dive right in. We're looking at a partly sunny day with temperatures hovering around a chilly 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Those gentle north winds will be cruising at around 5 miles per hour, so grab a light jacket when you head out.
Tonight, expect increasing clouds and temperatures dipping down to about 36 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds will be taking a little siesta - completely calm.
Thursday is going to be a wet one, folks! We're talking widespread showers with a 90 percent chance of precipitation. Expect between half to three-quarters of an inch of rain. Temperatures will struggle to reach 41 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds shifting to a north-northeast direction around 5 miles per hour.
Thursday night gets even more dramatic - heavy rain is on the menu. Temperatures will drop to around 35 degrees Fahrenheit, with north winds between 5 to 10 miles per hour and gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Grab those rain boots and umbrellas!
Friday brings a slight reprieve with only a 20 percent chance of morning showers. We'll see mostly cloudy skies and a high near 44 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend looks promising with sunny skies on Saturday reaching 56 degrees Fahrenheit and a spectacular Sunday with temperatures climbing to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
