Good morning, Boston! This is your weather whisperer bringing you the latest atmospheric adventures for the next few days.
Today's forecast is a bit of a rollercoaster. We're looking at a chilly start with a slight chance of rain and snow showers around 9 in the morning. Temperatures will play a little game of up and down, rising to near 35 degrees Fahrenheit by 10 am, then falling back to around 25 degrees. Expect some serious wind action with northwest gusts up to 38 miles per hour - so hold onto your hats, folks!
Tonight, winter decides to make a proper appearance. Snow is likely after 2 am, with temperatures dropping to a crisp 20 degrees Fahrenheit. We're expecting about one to two inches of fresh powder to blanket the landscape.
Wednesday brings more winter drama with snow showers likely before noon, then a slight possibility of rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will warm up to a more reasonable 41 degrees Fahrenheit with west winds that could gust up to 23 miles per hour.
As we move through the week, we'll see a mix of sunny and cloudy days. Thursday looks sunny but cold with temperatures near 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday brings a potential snow to rain transition with temperatures climbing to 44 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend starts chilly with Saturday's high near 29 degrees Fahrenheit and Sunday warming slightly to 35 degrees. By Sunday night and Monday, we're looking at a higher chance of rain and snow.
