Good morning, Chicago! This is your weather wake-up call for Tuesday.
Hold onto your hats, folks, because we've got a breezy day ahead! Overnight temperatures will hover right around the freezing mark at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, with a steady west northwest wind cruising at around 10 miles per hour.
As we roll into Tuesday, expect a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a pleasant near 50 degrees Fahrenheit. But here's the catch - those winds are going to get sassy! We're looking at west northwest winds shifting to southwest and potentially gusting up to 45 miles per hour in the afternoon. So maybe think twice about that light summer hat today!
Tuesday night will keep things crisp with mostly clear skies and temperatures dipping back down to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will still be active, blowing from the west at 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings more sunshine with a high near 40 degrees Fahrenheit and west northwest winds between 5 to 15 miles per hour. Thursday offers a slight chance of rain after noon, and by Friday, we might see a mix of rain and snow.
Quick heads up, we're under a Wind Advisory, so secure those loose outdoor items and maybe skip the fancy hairstyle today!
