Good morning, Columbus! Let's dive into our chilly winter forecast.
Today's looking like a winter wonderland with snow likely before 4 pm. Expect temperatures struggling to reach a high near 22 degrees Fahrenheit, and wind chill values dipping down to a bone-chilling negative 2 degrees. Those southwest winds will be gusting up to 20 miles per hour, so bundle up tight!
Tonight, we'll see partly cloudy skies with temperatures plummeting to around 4 degrees Fahrenheit. Those west winds will keep things crisp at 5 to 9 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings us a sunny but cold day, with highs near 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect those west winds to be gentle, around 3 to 6 miles per hour.
As we move into Thursday, we're looking at a chance of snow showers, mainly before 1 pm. Temperatures will warm up slightly to around 31 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds shifting from south to west throughout the day.
The weekend forecast shows a mix of cloudy conditions and potential rain. Saturday looks wet, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation and highs around 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
Martin Luther King Day will be partly sunny with temperatures struggling to reach 17 degrees Fahrenheit.
