Good morning, New Yorkers! It's time for your daily weather update coming straight from the National Weather Service in New York, New York.
Today, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 46 degrees. The winds will be coming from the west at 11 to 17 miles per hour. So hold onto your hats if you're out and about!
Tonight, the clouds will roll in, gradually becoming partly cloudy with temperatures holding steady around 45 degrees. A southwest wind at 10 to 14 miles per hour will keep things moving along.
As we look ahead to Wednesday, there's a 20 percent chance of showers after 2pm. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 53 degrees. The west wind will be picking up speed at 13 to 18 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 28 miles per hour.
Wednesday night will bring clear skies with a low around 34 degrees. It will be breezy, with a west wind blowing at 20 to 22 miles per hour.
Thursday will be sunny with a high near 43 degrees. The west wind will be around 18 miles per hour, so hold onto your hats once again for some gusts as high as 31 miles per hour.
For Friday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 43 degrees. But Friday night, rain is likely, mainly after 2 am. It will be mostly cloudy with a low around 38 degrees and a 60% chance of precipitation.
