Today in Washington DC, we're looking at isolated showers and thunderstorms popping up after 3 pm. It's going to be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat index values could reach as high as 106, so stay cool! The wind will be calm, later shifting to the southwest at around 6 miles per hour.
Tonight, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms between 8 pm and 2 am, then isolated showers. It will be mostly cloudy with a low around 79 degrees Fahrenheit.
Moving on to Saturday, we're in for isolated showers followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11 am. Partly sunny skies with a high near 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat index values could climb up to 104 this time. Winds coming from the southwest at 5 to 8 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
As we shift into the weekend, Sunday brings us partly sunny weather with a high near 94 degrees Fahrenheit and a gentle north wind transitioning to light and variable.
