Good morning, weather watchers! It's your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for Washington, District of Columbia.
Bundle up, because winter is definitely making its presence known! Today, we're looking at a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a chilly 37 degrees Fahrenheit. That northwest wind will start around 6 miles per hour but will calm down as the afternoon rolls in.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping down to a frosty 21 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep those warm blankets ready!
Moving into Monday, we're getting a slight warm-up with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures reaching near 41 degrees Fahrenheit. A light west wind will be keeping us company.
Tuesday might be a bit more brisk with sunny skies and temperatures hovering around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Watch out for those northwest winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour - it's going to feel extra crisp out there!
The rest of the week looks pretty consistent - sunny days with temperatures in the low 30s and clear, cold nights dipping into the teens. Thursday will offer a bit of cloud cover, and we're tracking a potential rainy situation coming in on Saturday with a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
