Good morning, weather watchers! Let's dive into our holiday forecast for Washington District of Columbia.
We've got a Winter Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up and stay alert. Today's looking like a chilly adventure with a chance of freezing rain in the morning transitioning to regular rain by early afternoon. Expect temperatures climbing to a brisk 44 degrees Fahrenheit with light and variable winds.
Tonight, we're cooling down to around 31 degrees with a gentle north wind at 3 to 5 miles per hour. Christmas Day brings some festive cheer with partly sunny skies and a high near 43 degrees.
Looking ahead, we have a mix of partly cloudy and mostly sunny days. Friday looks particularly pleasant with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures reaching 47 degrees. The weekend starts mild with temperatures climbing to 50 on Saturday and warming up to 57 on Sunday.
Weekend forecast suggests increasing rain chances - Sunday night looks like a definite umbrella day with a 60 percent chance of rainfall and temperatures dropping to 48 degrees.
