My guest this week on the What the Faulk Show is Author and Farmer Lucie Amundsen of Locally Laid egg company based in Wrenshall Minnesota. Lucie takes some time to discuss what they do over at Locally Laid and how they've learned to provide delicous, range free eggs for their customers. A happy chicken, makes a happy egg and the hens on Locally Laid's farm named "Lola" certainly fit that bill. Even more interesting is the journey the Amundsen's took in starting this company. Two non farmers, starting a range free chicken farm in Minnesota makes for an entertaining story. So much so that Lucie has written a book on the matter conveniently titled "Locally Laid". The book has been a major success, and has provided readers with a hillarious and relatable read about the ups and downs of starting a business in middle agriculture.
