We interview Anisah Jabar, a journalist based in New York City and probably one of the biggest Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan fans we know. She uses her own experiences as a woman of color to change the narrative in comics and pop culture through producing the Ms. Marvel-inspired No Normal short film series. We also talk about the importance of diverse representation on screen, and what Anisah hopes for in Kamala’s future. Anisah also shares how her passion for Ms. Marvel was born out of a professional endeavor, and offers advice for tackling your first audiovisual transformative work.
