"It's all about unspoken expectations." - Mo Tamraz Have you found yourself in a relationship asking yourself how do I understand this person? If yes, you're not alone. We've been in your shoes. That's why decided to open up about our relationship and share some of our biggest lessons and challenges on this Valentine's Day. This time the table is turned and our friend, Mariam Giorgadze, guides us through this conversation. We discuss questions such as:
  • What makes for a great relationship?
  • How do we keep our marriage fresh and new even after years spent together?
  • How do we handle our differences and disagreements?
  • Love & money - do they go together?
  • How to stay true to yourself without losing your own identity and freedom
These are just some of the questions we dive into in this very special Valentine's themed episode with my husband, Mohamed Tamraz. This is an incredibly rich, light-hearted conversation and my absolute favorite conversation we've published so far this year. Tune in and share this with someone you love. In the end, it's Valentine's ;) If you enjoyed our conversation with Mariam, make sure to check out my previous conversation with Mariam where we discuss the striking differences between how women approach self-care, career, relationships, and money around the world.

Have you ever felt like your life was falling apart beneath your feet? If yes, you’re not alone, and to be fairly honest, it’s probably an experience that each of us goes through at some point in life. What is the true value of a $1? Millions of people in the world live under a $1-2/day and many of us in the Western world can't imagine what that really means, yet, there are thousands of people living on the minimum wage within our own neighborhoods. Every year, almost 50% of people who set new year’s resolutions set goals related to their physical health. While many start hitting the gym or their living room, one of the reasons people fail is that they completely omit the steps needed to achieve inner transformation which needs to happen first before our physical transformation. To set ourselves up for a strong 2021 and to elevate our physical and mental wellbeing, I invited a very special guest whose not only a kick-ass fitness coach but also a person who went through tough hardships and was able to transform her body & soul inside and out. My guest for today’s show is Joanne Castillo. Joanne is the owner of Infalible Fit and a 15 year Air Force Veteran. Joanne’s story is extremely relatable to thousands of people around the world and is especially timely at this time of year. Joanne has struggled with excess weight her entire life and subsequently, she struggled with negative body image, self-talk, and self-hatred. Not being able to achieve results through diets, she ultimately convinced herself that her body type was hereditary and that she couldn’t do anything about it. Fortunately and unfortunately, her perspective changed when she got diagnosed with pre-diabetes and high cholesterol in 2016. This event triggered her to get into action. She hired a registered dietician and lost 50lb in one year. As a result of her personal transformation, Joanne’s mission is to help others the way fitness helped her. Joanne believes in supporting her clients as a whole person, with all facets of their personality, getting them past their fitness excuses one habit at a time, and places a priority on building a strong mindset with positive habits. In this episode, we talk about Joanne’s story of transformation, the power of positive self-image, the link between your results and self-image, the link between self-love and forgiveness and so much more. This is an incredibly rich, moving, and deep episode and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. If you know of someone who wants to transform their health this year, please share this episode with them and help them get on a journey of lasting health. Have you ever found yourself walking on the street and felt like somebody was following you? If yes and want to be able to protect yourself when this is not just a result of your imagination, then tune in to this episode with Tiffany Armstrong. At 20 years old, Tiffany Armstrong fought off an attacker using the only 3 self-defense moves she knew at the time. Since then, Tiffany has dedicated her entire life to empowering women in smart self-defense and has educated well over 100,000 women and their families all over the world to protect themselves in a first of its kind personal safety platform. Tiffany’s training is reaching countries that don't even have access to self-defense. In this episode, Tiffany and I talk about her experience of being brutally assaulted, how she healed from this traumatizing experience and broke free from victim mentality years after her first attack. We talk about Stockholm Syndrome which occurs when abuse victims develop a bond and come to sympathize with the abuser. Outside of that, we talk about hidden forms of manipulation, how to recognize it, and what you can do to better set boundaries and protect yourself from manipulative behavior. This is an incredibly rich, vulnerable, and inspiring episode and I’m so thrilled for you to hear this inspiring message. What you need to know about Tiffany: Tiffany has earned two black belts and has studied multiple forms of martial arts. Beyond the physical techniques, she teaches all aspects of personal safety, for example, how to overcome your own fear response, how to carry yourself in a way that wipes yourself off the victim list of many would-be attackers (according to attackers themselves), and so much more. Now, enjoy this fantastic, wide-ranging conversation with Tiffany Armstrong. * Connect with Tiffany Armstrong Facebook Instagram Website *** Quick announcement: The holiday season is upon us, yeah which means you’ll be probably spending more time with your families and so will I :) The Fearless Warrior Podcast team will be taking a short break during the week of Christmas to honor our time with our families, celebrate the holidays and we’ll be back on Dec 30th to share our message for 2021.
