Today I’m speaking with Dr. B.J. Miller, an amazing hospice and palliative medicine physician as well as the author of A Beginner’s Guide To The End: Practical Advice for Living Life and Facing Death. He has helped more than 1,000 people die and speaks internationally on the themes of living well in the face of illness and death. He has been profiled in the New York Times and interviewed by both Oprah Winfrey & Tim Ferriss.
In this interview he reveals some of the things that have still allowed him to flourish after a freak accident in college caused him to three limbs, ways to think about death to lessen our fear of it, how technology makes death less intuitive these days, parts of his own death plan, and much more. This was one of my most enjoyable interviews to date.
