Author Bio: I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full. Author Bio: Born in the black dirt farmland of the Midwest, I have lived in the mountain- rimmed world of Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1985. My studio is here, where I work every day. Painting has been my first art, which became twinned with writing in 1996. Now I paint and write books, finding that a visual language alongside a spoken one only deepens the story. The stories are all about the human journeys, of birth, of death, of longing and love. They ask and show- Who we are, what we may be, the mystery and the exact beauty of life. When I began this new art of visual literature, I invoked Beatrix Potter and William Blake as my work's god parents. Think of Potter's careful observation, insightful whimsy and Blake's transcendent spirit. The visible and the invisible are of equal shaping inspiration. The first story of my ongoing Passage Way Books is Madison's Descent, which began, literally, at the moment when my niece Madison Page was born, and then was given insight by my first visit to Ireland. The majesty of birth, the wonder of a land that is ancient and ever-fresh called me to imagine my own myth story- of birth. I still paint for my gallery, my exhibition place of many years, the extraordinary Owings Gallery, Santa Fe. I still go to Ireland to work and to be at home, as often as possible. Author Bio Brian Latimer is a college professor and part-time satirist that corrupts young minds to think critically and question authority. He likes to poke fun at the absurdity of academia because it's funny that people who hold multiple fancy pieces of paper still can't do simple things they should have learned in elementary school. Hence, he is in the middle of writing a book series about how bizarre people with PhDs really are. When not in front of the classroom, Brian conducts research, plays old video games, and flings himself down flights of stairs for fun. In his lifetime he has been an author, voiceover artist, wedding videographer, stage performer, musician, producer, rock/pop artist, executive assistant, service manager, paperboy, CSR, poet, tech support, worship leader, and more. The diversity of his life experiences gives him a unique approach to business, life, ministry, faith, and entertainment. Aaron's favorite author by far is J.R.R. Tolkien, but he also enjoys Suzanne Collins, James S.A. Corey, Marie Lu, Madeleine L'Engle, C.S. Lewis, and Stephen King. Aaron has always had a passion for storytelling. Author Bio Author of soon-to-be 25 books, odds are you've seen Bitsy Kemper on CNN, heard her on national CBS radio, seen her quoted in everything from Parenting Magazine to "Writing Children's Books for Dummies" or read her work in countless newspapers, radio and TV stations across the U.S. Maybe you drove past her on the freeway and didn't even know it... She earned two undergraduate degrees (one in Economics/Marketing, one in Communication/Theatre) and a master's degree in business (M.B.A.). Learning is fun! After spending entirely too much time of her early career in the computer industry as a PR and Marketing manager, she helped create and drive a national program to help parents feel less afraid of technology. When blessed with mommyhood, she focused on the family. She's been writing for children ever since her kids became obsessed with the frog living in the discarded pink sneaker outside their front door (honestly, some books write themselves). "Mommy & Me Micro-Moments: 5-Minute Devotional Activities for Moms and Kids" is her latest book, and the one of her heart. The more people buy it, the more likely she'll write Part 2! (hint hint) (ha ha) Find more detail than you need at BotsyKemper.com. Her bio can be summed up in two words: "Write on!"
