Hena Doba is truly an inspiration. Today we talked about her South Asian roots and the obstacles she faced rising in her prestigious career as a TV journalist from local news networks to CBS and now Cheddar News. Although our stories are different, there was an instant connection I felt with this South Asian sister as we talked about growing up South Asian in America, race, privilege, and how far we have come.
