Chanda Hinton is the Executive Director of the Chanda Center for Health and Chanda Plan Foundation, which provides access to holistic, collaborative, and disability competent healthcare programs to individuals with physical disabilities. She landed in this role, based on personal experience as a woman living with a spinal cord injury, by choosing to see barriers as opportunities, ask questions, and push for change. When she hears the words, “no we can’t do that,” she finds it as an invitation for all of us to ask why?
