A deaf person may feel separate from much of the world because of their disability. It can be isolating at times and there are things hearing people do that can make that either better or worse. The thing is a deaf person deserve more than just recognition, they need to be accepted into the community as equals and given the support they need to succeed.

Kellina Powell, an Entrepreneur, a Life Coach, and the author of Everyday I Am Just Deaf, shares with us on the podcast her deaf perspective and her story gives us lots to think about.
