In this episode of the Better Presentations More Sales podcast Trevor explores why we would describe a presentation as being ‘brilliant’ - especially when in reality it’s ok.

Is it because we want to motivate the presenter?

Is it because we don’t want to appear critical?

Trevor talked about an occasion when he was invited to deliver session about delivering presentations to a group of businesses and before it was his turn members of the organisation had delivered short presentations each of which have been described by the compere as brilliant.

The same applies when business leaders deliver presentations. Most of the time they are far from brilliant but I want is often prepared to tell them that.

But unless of course that happens businesses go on enduring presentations from their leaders which frankly could be a lot better.
