In this episode, we discuss our heavenly father and how he is different from our earthly father. He never lies, is dependable, and has never failed in anything.

John 1:12-13

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

John 14:23,

Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”

1 Corinthians 8:6

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Psalm 103:13

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.

Proverbs 3:11-12⁠

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, forever, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matthew 6:26

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

James 1:17

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
