In 2011, Melinda Patrick’s daughter came to her and confessed that she was experiencing same-sex attraction. Melinda, an avid follower of Jesus and an active member of her church community was completely caught off-guard, and, admittedly, didn’t handle it well. On today’s episode, Paige has a raw and honest conversation with Melinda about her ongoing journey with her daughter - and how God in His goodness has worked to transform Melinda’s heart - so she can love her daughter well and surrender her to Him. - Understand that grief may be playing a very large role in their life - show up in a loving, honoring way, even if you don’t understand exactly what they are going through.
