From Erik Shaw, DO, FAAPMR, and the Opioid REMS Education Initiative, an introduction to neuropathic pain and expert insight on differentiating peripheral vs central neuropathic pain and recognizing the signs, symptoms, and pathophysiology of each. This episode also features an interview with a standardized patient who has been experiencing chronic pain due to shingles.
