In this lesson, Jesus has taken the bar of who will be in His kingdom to the highest level in their minds. He said, "Your righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees and Scribes". That is a tall order in their day. Jesus is taking us back to the heart of the matter, which He has been doing since the beginning of this Sermon.
