Our episode this week is a very delicate one and had all the marks of being a a difficult conversation to have. However our guest barista this week Bola Bolarinwa who despite all that she went through was able to share her story with grace and laughter and this ensured that the conversation was not too heavy.
Bola candidly, and with sometimes a bit of humour talked about having to deal with mental illness after suffering the loss of her son. Her transparency and honesty is greatly admired.
Her testimony of recovery is also inspiring and phenomenonal.
The aim of the episode was to increase the awareness on mental health issues , de-stigmatize mental health and remove the shame attcahed to it.
