Practice makes Permanent

In this next segment of Nate’s reviews of trending self-help, motivational speakers, he takes a look at Eric Thomas, who Nate admits, is one of his top, or perhaps favorite, motivational speaker.

Nate reviews one of Eric’s most popular videos as he speaks, or rather yells, at his audience, about the difference between average and successful people. You see and hear Eric bellow that success can be defined by those who are willing to give up certain behaviors in order to work harder, longer, and better than others. Eric shares that only those who walk the walk will be successful. Repeating positive behavior, actions, and effort will not only bring success, it will become easier to do more; muscle and brain memory will make these actions and benefits permanent.

Nate relates how when you are all in on your effort at what you are doing, you sometimes don’t need to eat or sleep. Time flies, and your energy levels are at a maximum. Nate and Eric relate how wasting precious hours on electronic devices is the stuff of losers and average people. You want to be successful? Plough through tirelessly.

Nate agrees with Eric that hardship is relative, as everyone’s background is different. Struggles can real but can't be compared to the struggles of others.

The last major impactful area of the video focuses on the concept that just when people start tasting success, they ease up a bit to enjoy the victory. Eric points out in his not-so-gentle style, that this is precisely when you press the gas pedal and not the brake.

Nate concludes that he loves Eric Thomas and everything he stands for and that the mantra for all of us should be that in order to be successful, follow a very simple rule: Outwork, outlast, outperform your competition, and your goals will be achieved.

Enjoy.
