59. Ignore This Cold Outreach Advice At Your Peril

This is a banger of a quote. It speaks logical sense in the current illogical market.
Most people believe when starting their agency or coaching business they can outsource their success. They’re sold lies by gurus believing they can hire a setter, rep and media buyer (or coach) and have a business that runs without them before Christmas time. It’s bullshit, and if you believe this you are in for a nasty surprise.
Here’s a harsh, ugly truth: done-for-you appointment booking solutions rarely work for business owners who don’t understand them. Well, there’s a few real exceptions - there are many talented setters out there. It’s never a skill-based issue, but an incentive based issue.
