On this Ascension Sunday, we hear the story of the disciples watching Jesus ascend into heaven to sit at the right hand of his Father. What does this mean for us? It means our work to bring about the Kingdom of God begins. We are now tethered to the power of Christ, wherever we are, because he sits at the right hand of God. We have all we need to get to work.
