Happy New Year! We’re starting 2023 by bringing something very special to episode 8: kindred conversations around fostering healthy sexuality! Our host is licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist and expert in children’s mental health, Vanessa Durrant. She is joined by staff therapist Sophie Dykstra, who is certified to work with children and adolescents with problematic sexual behaviors. Their conversation is centered around how to safely and intentionally support children in learning about sexual health, and how to help parents navigate these sensitive topics with their children using the latest research in healthy sexuality and sexual violence prevention.
