Bruins take series lead vs. Leafs thanks to Marchand's biggest game as captain

All hail the rat king. Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand stepped up HUGE in a 4-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, helping his team gain a 2-1 series lead in the process.

Marchand scored a pair of goals while getting under Toronto's skin and in the Maple Leafs' heads. The series is far from over, but Marchand was everything you wanted to see from a Bruins' captain in this game.

A lot of the postgame discourse revolved around the officiating. While it wasn't great on both sides, Locked on Boston Bruins host Ian McLaren argues the refs didn't dictate the outcome and it's silly to suggest Marchand gets the benefit of the doubt from them.
