The New Orleans Saint and general manager Mickey Loomis are now facing their worst-case scenario as two candidates, Aaron Glenn and Joe Brady eschew familiarity and deny the Saints a chance to interview in person. There's no sugar-coating those optics, the Saints have a job on their hands that top options don't want. With Anthony Weaver, Darren Rizzi and Mike Kakfka being the only candidates to take an in-person interview so far, Mike McCarthy, Kellen Moore and Kliff Kingsbury go under watch to see if they too will about face.

Perhaps the Saints will be left in a position wherein they must hire someone in 2025 to help them through the next couple of years before they have a better salary cap, draft crop and talent on their roster to sell again in another couple of seasons. It's tough, but the business is the business. This all also heats the seat for Mickey Loomis quite dramatically.
