Syracuse Orange Football secured its 5th 2026 verbal commitment, BJ Garrett. Fran Brown's newest recruit is rated as the second best player in the state of Delaware, per 247sports. The Orange currently have the 18th best '26 class in the country, and should be aiming to finish top-5 in the ACC. One way to do that is to potentially funnel the Kyle McCord leftover money into the recruiting class instead of spending all of it in the transfer portal.
